The Cascade Community Theatre is blazing ahead with an exciting spring season. Interest in the expanded programs for children and adults has been ignited by the success of the first adult production in December.

“Everyone is proud to bring something of this quality to the community,” said Chuck Young, artistic director. “The commitment and dedication of the volunteers is amazing.”

The next adult show, “The Odd Couple,” is set for March 28, 29 at 7:30 and March 30 at 2 p.m. at Cedarcrest High School Theatre in Duvall. This is a Neil Simon comedy, directed by Stuart Lisk and produced by Wendy Habek, questioning whether a tidy neurotic and a freewheeling slob can share an apartment without killing each other.

Advance tickets for adults are $10, seniors and students $7. At the door, adults $12 and seniors and students $9. You may also call Brown Paper Tickets at 1-800-838-3600.

Stuart and Wendy are co-directing a delightful collection of five elementary school plays on May 2nd, 3rd and 4th at Tolt Middle School in Carnation that include: “Mother Goose Gumshoe,” “Looking Glass Murder,” “Secret Agents in Disguise,” “The Town That Couldn’t Wake Up,” and “Blame it on the Wolf.”

Chuck Young is directing two middle school murder mystery comedies, “Mirth and Mayhem” and “Remains to be Seen,” May 16, 17 and 18 at Tolt Middle School.

Advance tickets for the elementary and middle school plays are $5 for adults and seniors and $3 for students. At the door, adults are $6, seniors and students $4.

Photos, flowers and refreshments will be available for purchase at each performance. For more information and to buy advance tickets go to www.cascadecommunitytheatre.org. To learn how you can participate or to donate to the Cascade Community Theatre, contact info@cascadecommunitytheatre.org.
